Sophia Boedecker Holsapple was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, where her lifelong devotion to nature and movement first took shape. She has spent the better half of her life practicing and teaching a range of embodiment modalities, guided both by her innate curiosity and the healing journey rooted in her own lived experiences. She is a mother and a deeply caring human.
For the past fifteen winters, Sophia has made her home in Nosara, Costa Rica—a jungle haven that deeply informs her work and the way she holds space. Blending embodiment practices, trauma-informed facilitation, and a reverence for the natural world, she creates containers that invite release, remembrance, and connection.
With Sophia, you can expect to laugh, cry, soften, shake, and discover. Her teachings are grounded, heart-centered, and attuned to the full spectrum of the human experience.
