Kinkara
Tucked away at the foot of Mt. Chirripó in Costa Rica’s biodiverse Southern Zone,
Kinkara is an experiential luxury retreat center,
with pristine nature to reconnect you with the land.
Whether swimming in a jungle waterfall, savoring exquisite farm-to-table cuisine,
resting in the bell tents or feeling a deep state of sanctuary,
Kinkara offers moments of beauty and self-discovery.
Kinkara is known for its hand-picked organic produce from the Mandala Garden,
and their award-winning and published chef who creates a
delicious eating experience. Enjoying family-style feasting that pays homage
to Mesoamerican cuisine, in all its colorful, curative glory.
Located at the heart of the Mandala Garden, El Morén – meaning “well-being” in native Borucan,
is an exquisite 360 open-air movement space where we will be gathering
for our sessions during this retreat.
Accommodations
31 belle tents rest on the land.
Each features exquisitely crafted hardwood furniture, sumptuous mattresses
and pillows, organic cotton linens and daily housekeeping,
and close proximity to our immaculate spa-inspired Bath Houses.
The Bath Houses are communal and offer luxury in their details.
These tents are fully furnished and equipped with an extensive list
of amenities including solar-powered lighting, soft robes, USB charging pods and Wi-Fi.
With netted windows for airflow and thick organic cotton linens, snuggle up for a night of nurturing sleep.
Pricing
All prices are per person and include tuition for the retreat,
your tent accommodation, and 3 healthy organic gourmet meals each day.
A 50% deposit on your accommodation of choice is required for registration.
Final payments will be initiated on May 6th, 2022.
Any registrations after May 6th are required to be paid in full.
Once you register, you will be sent a link to secure your space and lodging.

Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel for any reason after you have registered for this event,
you will receive a refund minus a $400 fee up to six weeks in advance of this offering (June 4th, 2022).
After this date, if you test positive for Covid or are experiencing an emergency, your funds minus the $400 fee will be returned ONLY IF your spot can be replaced by a new participant.
If your spot is not filled, your investment will not be refunded.
We strongly suggest that everyone purchase additional traveler’s insurance to protect your investment.
In the event that the Costa Rican governmental authorities make the execution of this event legally impossible
by closing Costa Rica’s borders to foreign travelers or by mandating closure of hotels including Kinkara, the retreat will be cancelled and deposits will be refunded.
Additional Costs:
Below are additional costs that are not included in the price of tuition:
• Your Covid test taken 24 hours before the start of the retreat.
• Your covid test for the 2nd full day of the retreat.
This can be an “at-home” rapid test that you bring yourself, or we can schedule
to have someone come onsite and administer a test for you.

The price for a Covid test taken in Costa Rica is approximately $70 – $130.
If you need to take an additional Covid test during the retreat
due to a possible infection, that will also be your financial responsibility.
• Your Covid tests to meet travel requirements if you are flying in and out of Costa Rica.
• Cost of transportation between the international airports and Kinkara.
• Kinkara will offer laundry service for a small fee.
• Any bodywork that you may schedule during your stay.
• Any snacks or drinks you may want beyond the scheduled meal times.
Uma (Ashleigh Sergeant) is Wyld’s mamma, yogini, beloved partner, mystic, eternal student, and lover of the goddess, Uma has been teaching therapeutic yoga, meditation and philosophy since 2005. Dedicated to the pursuit of healing a spinal condition from birth, Uma began a dedicated self-practice at a very young age. Now, emerging from a traumatic transition into motherhood: a month-long induced coma and re-learning how to walk, her fiercely loving passion, capacity and skillset for healing through embodiment is unparalleled. Grounded in a solid foundation of the ancient teachings, Uma’s offerings are a practical and comprehensive exploration of the mystical, energetic and contemplative practices of the yoga tradition.
Co-founder of Experience Alaya, Director of Yoga and Movement for The Envision Festival in Costa Rica, Uma also spent five years as the Global Yoga Trainer for Adidas, was the former Head of Yoga Content for Gaia.com, and was honored to be the youngest Certified Anusara Yoga Instructor in the world. Lori-Anne Lacambra is a trauma-informed embodiment guide and space holder in sacred ceremonies. She is a certified Somatic Coach and Somatic Attachment Therapy Practitioner. She empowers her clients to embody their sovereignty by attuning to their somatic wisdom and expressing themselves from a place of center. Her services weave her values of ‘Life as prayer; Body as healer; Expression as art.’
By creating safer and sacred spaces of compassion, courage, non-judgment and radical welcoming, Lori-Anne’s clients have more access to their inner resources and can empower their own agency on their healing path.
Karina Turtzo is a certified holistic health, transformation and integration guide with a focus on plant medicine. She is a transformational breathwork facilitator and a trauma informed somatic embodiment guide. Karina is the founder of the wellness platform Sovereign by Nature, non-profit The ARC based in Costa Rica, and sacred container for womxn The Sacred Session.
What Karina brings to all of her endeavors, is the essence of embodiment and a prayer that radiates the frequency of WHOLENESS. She has devoted herself to the study of consciousness- deep work including self discovery, expansion, embodiment, living a life with deep reverence and navigating life’s initiations with grace and resiliency.
Karina holds space from a place of non-judgement, she creates a divine container where others can shed, remember, integrate and grow. Her mission is to help seekers remember their divine gifts and purpose and empower a new generation of embodied and conscious leaders.
Juan Manuel Montero is an elemental designer and land steward who has been seeped in the study of Native American traditions and the restorative yoga spectrum.
A native of lush Costa Rica, Juan Ma has been walking the good medicine road through north, central, south América and the pacific islands, living in different self sufficient communities, he believes nature is our ultimate ally to connect to source, and through his work, seeks to re enliven our connection with the sacred ancient future through prayer supported by the natural elements.
Chela Rie invites you to develop a deeper understanding of your body through the synergy of your senses. Contemplative integration of ritual, sacred touch, sound, and nature are the pillars of her practice. With 20 years as a professional bodywork therapist and healing artist, has learned to meet the needs that come with long hours of movement. Her signature method, “Deep Balance BodyWork”, is a synthesis of manual techniques designed to support release from somatic patterns. This interdisciplinary approach uses Joint release, Energy work, Deep tissue, Craniosacral, Trigger point, Thai massage, Trager, and Californian Massage. In this inward journey, we bring together an integration of structure, form, energy, and soul.

Travel Info
Travel to Kinkara is off the beaten path.
Please read the following carefully so you have all the information you need before booking your travel.
Arrival
July 9th: Check-in between 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm | Orientation is at 5:30 pm
You will be flying into Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) – San Jose, CR.
It is approximately a 3.5 – 5 hour drive (depending on traffic) to and from Kinkara or a 45-minute charter flight.
We suggest arriving in Costa Rica a day early on July 8th so your commute from San Jose to Kinkara is easeful before beginning our first session.

Once registered, you will receive a list of recommended hotels + information on these transportation options.
Optional covid testing for your return flight will be available to schedule before you travel if needed.
There is also covid testing available at SJO airport.
Please note: we recommend booking your return flight on the 15th and staying overnight in San Jose on the 14th.

will be due on May 6th, 2022.
